FAQs

Booking & Check-in

How do I make a booking?

Bookings can be made easily online through our website. If you’re unsure which option suits you best, feel free to email us at info@navarino.com.au for assistance.

Can I make a group booking?

Absolutely! We love welcoming groups 😊
Start by emailing info@navarino.com.au to check availability and suitability.
We then recommend that each family or group member makes their own booking online, adding a note to mention the group name. This ensures everyone receives their own pre-arrival information and that the organiser isn’t responsible for everyone’s booking.

Can I request a particular site or be near friends?

Yes! When booking online, you can add a note requesting a specific site or to be located near friends. We’ll always do our best to accommodate requests, though sometimes it may not be possible due to booking logistics.

How do I make changes to my booking?

If you need to make any changes, please reply to your confirmation email with your request.
We’ll amend your booking and send you an updated confirmation.

How do I check in?

All guests must check in at reception to receive information about their stay.

  • Campers: Check-in 11am | Check-out 11am

  • Accommodation: Check-in 2pm | Check-out 10am

If you’re arriving in multiple cars or at different times, everyone must check in at reception.
Our office is generally open until 5pm, and open late on Fridays.

Accommodation & Facilities

What is included in the accommodation?

Each accommodation unit is uniquely set up, but all come equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay — just bring yourselves and your food 😊
Every unit includes a fridge, basic cooking facilities, and all linen and towels for each guest.

Is the accommodation ensuite?

Yes, all accommodation options have their own ensuite, except for the glamping tents, which have access to nearby shared facilities.

What facilities does the park have?

  • Hot showers and flushing toilets

  • Small playground for kids

  • Modern laundry with coin-operated washers and dryers

Phone and internet

There is phone and internet reception throughout the park, but some sections have better signal than others.
There is no Wi-Fi provided at the park.

Does the bush camping area have access to facilities?

Yes! The bush camping area is within the park, and guests have full access to all facilities.

Do you have a café or food options?

Our café is currently not operating, but our small shop at reception stocks a range of essentials.
Waroona IGA is just 10 minutes away, and there are several local cafés and pubs offering delivery to the park, such as the Hungry Bear Café and Drakesbrook Hotel.

Pets & Park Rules

Are you pet friendly?

Yes! We’re dog friendly 🐾 Dogs are welcome on campsites and inside all accommodation. They must be kept on a lead at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.
Please note: dogs are not allowed on furniture or bedding, and not permitted in shared amenities such as the toilet and shower blocks or camp kitchen.
As we’re located in the State Forest, other pets (such as cats) are not allowed.

Campfires & Visitors

Can we have a campfire?

During the cooler months, campfires are permitted but must be in an enclosed fire pit. You can bring your own or hire one from us.
For more details, please visit our Campfire Information page.

Can visitors come to our campsite during our stay?

Day visitors may be permitted for a $10 per person day pass. All visitors must check in at reception (for fire safety regulations).
Please note that during peak periods or when fully booked, visitors are not permitted.

Activities & Local Info

Do you hire kayaks?

Not at the moment — but we’re working on it! 🚣‍♀️
For now, Dwellingup Adventures offers kayak hire nearby.

What activities can you do on the dam?

You can bring motorised boats, jet skis, kayaks, and paddle boards.
For detailed boating and jet ski regulations, please visit the Department of Transport website.

Can you fish in the dam?

Yes! The dam is home to rainbow trout, brown trout, and redfin perch.
There’s a great fishing shop in Waroona that can help with tips, bait, and gear.
You’ll need a South West freshwater fishing licence, and marron season runs for 4 weeks in January and February each year.
