Campground Policies
Lake Navarino Holiday Park is nestled in the Jarrah forest between Waroona and Dwellingup. It offers cabins, caravan sites, and camping options, including pet-friendly accommodations, just north of Perth.
To ensure every guest enjoys a safe and pleasant experience, we expect all visitors to adhere to the following terms and conditions. By making a booking at the park, you agree to these policies.
Accommodation Bookings
All accommodations are dog-friendly; however, dogs are not permitted on furniture or beds. Guests are encouraged to limit dog hair in the cabins, and brooms are provided for cleaning. Guests must leave their accommodation as they found it, including washing, drying, and putting away all dishes. Additional cleaning charges may apply. Accommodation is charged for a minimum of two people per unit, with an additional charge of $20 per person per night. If bed linen is used but not paid for at check-in, additional charges will be applied.
Cancellation Policy
Peak Periods
Peak periods include school holidays, long weekends, public holidays, and special events.
For site bookings, cancellations must be made in writing to info@navarino.com.au. Free cancellation is available up to 14 days before arrival. Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days prior to arrival will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking amount. Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking amount.
For accommodation bookings, cancellations must be made in writing to info@navarino.com.au. Free cancellation is available up to 30 days before arrival. Cancellations made between 29 and 14 days prior to arrival will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking amount. Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking amount.
Outside Peak Periods
For site bookings, cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking amount.
For accommodation bookings, cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival will forfeit 100% of the total booking amount.
Full payment is required at check-in for all bookings, including the total number of adults and children per site or unit.
Check-In / Check-Out
Guests must report to reception upon arrival to check in for their stay. Check-in time is after 12:00 pm for sites and after 2:00 pm for accommodations. Check-out time is 10:00 am for both sites and cabins. Late check-outs for sites may be arranged, subject to availability. Guests arriving after 5:00 pm should email in advance with their booking confirmation to arrange a late check-in. No refunds will be provided for cancellations or stay reductions after check-in or if guests are asked to leave due to non-compliance with park rules.
Fires
Fires, including charcoal BBQs, are not permitted during restricted burning periods. Campfires are allowed during the winter months, subject to local regulations. Guests should check campfire rules upon check-in.
Noise Curfew
Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Disruptive, aggressive, or rowdy behavior is not tolerated at any time.
Parent Supervision
Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times and ensuring they adhere to park rules. Parents are liable for any damage caused by their children. Bikes, scooters (non-electric), and skateboards may be brought to the park but must not be used after dark. All equipment must be ridden responsibly, adhering to an 8 km/h speed limit, and children must wear protective helmets and appropriate footwear. Electric scooters are prohibited within the park.
Pets Policy
Dogs are welcome at the park, but they must always be kept on short leads and supervised. Dogs must not be left unattended or allowed to bark excessively. Guests are required to clean up after their dogs immediately and dispose of waste in designated bins. Guests are responsible for any injury or damage caused by their dogs and may be required to pay compensation. Management may request a pet bond, which can be forfeited for non-compliance with the pet policy.
Recycling and Rubbish
Guests are encouraged to dispose of suitable containers in wire bins located throughout the park. Funds raised support park revegetation projects. For more information, visit www.containersforchange.com.au. Rubbish should be collected in bags and placed in the skip bins provided. Fish scraps must be wrapped and bagged before disposal.
Security
Guests are responsible for the security of their belongings. Valuables should be kept safe and out of sight. Management is not liable for theft or loss of personal items.
Speed Limit
A strict 8 km/h speed limit applies throughout the park. Roads are shared by pedestrians, bikes, and vehicles.
Visitors
Visitors must report to reception upon arrival and vacate the park by 9:00 pm. Park facilities are reserved for paying guests, and visitor vehicles must be parked outside the park. Visitors staying overnight must arrange this in advance with reception, and additional charges will apply.
