Campfire Policy – Stay Safe and Enjoy Responsibly

At Lake Navarino Holiday Park, our fire policy is designed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests. By lighting a fire, you agree to follow the guidelines below — your cooperation helps keep our park safe for everyone.

Fire Pit & Wood Hire

Fire Pit Hire: $10 for the duration of your stay. 

Firewood: $25 per bag

Firelighters: $5
Please organise hire in advance by replying to your pre stay email. 

Campfire Rules

Fires are only allowed in fire pits provided by the park or an approved device authorised by the Park Manager.

No fires are permitted on days of Total Fire Ban or when deemed unsafe by park staff.

Fires must always be attended by a responsible adult.

All fires must be fully extinguished with water before midnight.

Cutting or harvesting wood from trees is strictly prohibited.

Burning of treated timber or painted wood is not allowed.

Keep all flammable materials at least 2 metres away from the fire pit.

Do not allow flames or embers to spread beyond the pit.

Please remove or neatly stack any leftover unburnt wood before departure.

No chainsawing wood within the park.

Reckless behavior involving fire will result in immediate eviction.
