All Off-Road vehicles including trail bikes, quads, ATV's, buggies or any other motor vehicle not licensed as per the Road Traffic Act are now prohibited from operating on any land owned by the Department of Water (DoW) and especially in the Waroona Dam catchment area. Please note that most of the area surrounding DoW land is State Forest and under the control of the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) where similar rules and restrictions apply.

All other vehicles including licensed road/trail bikes and 4WD motor vehicles, are restricted to operating on approved, formed tracks, i.e. NO BUSH BASHING. click HERE for a map showing the authorised tracks.

Please note any vehicle not displaying registration plates and a current license sticker or disk will be deemed un-licensed, the onus will be on the driver to prove it is licensed.

No motor vehicles except those authorised by DoW are permitted to cross streams or traverse any wet lands within the catchment, i.e.

NO CUTTING UP IN THE MUD

The foreshore is not to be used for the purpose of driving around  or circumnavigating the reservoir.

USE THE ROADS OR ACCESS TRACKS

Vehicle access to the foreshore is available at various points for the purpose of launching and retrieving water craft, other vehicles may also park on the foreshore during daylight hours provided this does not restrict access for other boat owners.
