The following was transcribed from a letter we received

To Brad Kettle and family

I am writing this on behalf of my wife and dog Paige (she was welcome on a lead) to thankyou for your hospitality and to congratulate you on your park facilities with cabins, powered caravan sites and campsites. Mandy said to me it was the best park we had stayed in, and they've all been pretty good. I have to agree with her about the park. Only one and a half hours drive from Perth and Bunbury if I had a place like this on my doorstep I would be sure to visit often. Even though the weather was wet we still enjoyed walking around the park looking at the different animal and birdlife. Last night we were visited by a mother kangaroo and her joey who were extremely friendly. The mother even took an apple from my hand. We saw various parrots and a large number of kookaburras. The weather was very suitable to sit and talk by an open fire in the restaurant bar and have a nice glass of port. The dam is used for skiing and other water sports, something I would try if we visited in the warmer weather. I hope to return again and will certainly be telling family and friends back in South Australia and people we meet in other caravan parks on our travels up north to stay if they are in the area. As I am writing this my wife has called me out of the caravan to look at a kookaburra that is on a branch about 3 metres from our caravan door. Suddenly there were the laughs of other kookaburras which started our friend laughing too. I hope they weren't laughing at me.

Thanks Again

Signed
